The classes are designed to learn the language in a fun way though games for each lesson and online resources such as quizzes or British Council material for beginners. It could last a school year and include help with school homework or exam preparation.
A C1 level of English allows for a full range of functionality at work or in an academic setting. Speaking activities based on specific topics provided by articles or short stories, depending on the level; listening activities, quizzes, puzzles, vocabulary and grammar activities.
This course would consist of informal conversation practice about a specific topic. The student will read an article of interest before the class and the teacher can choose another one too.
The objective of these lessons is to improve formal speaking and writing. Each student could bring a topic of personal interest to focus on during a lesson, present it briefly to the rest, and start a discussion. After every lesson, students can write about what they learnt, including their own views on the topic. The written exercises will be corrected by the teacher before the class.
This course involves reading a book chosen by the teacher and then during the class the different aspects are discussed, such as vocabulary, idioms, common phrases and expressions. The students will talk about the story with the teacher and express their opinion. Each student would need to write down some ideas to bring up during the group discussion.
